A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas Review - 2 Stars
Kal Penn and John Cho return for another adventure of slacker/stoners Harold and Kumar. Except this episode begins with our heroes grown apart. Harold has a high paying job in banking while Kumar spends his days getting stoned and avoiding his now pregnant girlfriend. A package with a giant joint and the search to replace the perfect Christmas tree lead to another wild ride, involving Russian mobsters, virginal daughters, Neal Patrick Harris, an on stage appearance at the Radio City Christmas Show, and a tribute to “A Christmas Story” which substitutes a tongue stuck on a sub-freezing pole with an especially sensitive body part. Some of the non stop jokes flop but enough hit to keep things moving. This Christmas special also makes grand fun of 3 D technology. Finally. 3 D as a joke. Thank you Harold and Kumar. Does it deliver what it promises? The next generation Cheech and Chong celebrate the holidays. Is it entertaining? A gag-fest. Is it worth the price of admission? Just for fun.
