Girls behave badly in “Bachelorette”—the girls include Kirsten Dunst, Lizzy Caplan, and Isla Fisher—beautiful pals from high school invited to participate in the wedding of Rebel Wilson — the big girl everybody picked on including our three leading ladies. A night of x rated behavior including drugs, alcohol, sex and a little parading around in the bride’s wedding dress results in catastrophe—a rip that must be fixed by morning’s light without the bride knowing. “Bachelorette” feels a lot like ‘Bridesmaids” only not as funny. Kirsten Dunst plays the uptight on, Lizzy the promiscuous one, Isla the train wreck—all of them unmarried and jealous of the girl they used to pick on. I find it interesting that the movie has been available on demand and on i Tunes for about three weeks. This could be another sign of chance for movies and the way we watch them. And frankly, “Bachelorette” might be more fun at home in your pjs. Does it deliver what it promises? R rated girl comedy. Is it entertaining? “Bridesmaids” knock off. Is it worth the price of admission? $9.99 and watch it at home.
