Before Midnight Review - 1 Star
Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy continue their series about a couple that first met in “Before Sunrise” got together in “Before Sunset” and now return as a long time couple with children in “Before Midnight.” They talk, they eat, they make love, they fight, they talk, they fight, they talk until either you melt at every scene and on hearing every word or you check your watch and mentally scream “Get me Out of Here!” Count me in the latter category. Does it deliver what it promises? Well, actually, yeah. The couple fans learned to love now settle into middle age with all of its problems. Is it entertaining? Certainly simulates real life but does it so well that I found it sometimes painful and often boring. Is it worth the price of admission? I went for free and couldn’t wait to leave the theater. Hey! I’m a romantic and some of you will love this and if so, do enjoy. As for me, I pass.
