You're Next Review - 1 Star

Slasher movie begins with a scene that looks like violence but turns out as bedroom sex.  After they finish, the guy takes a shower and the girl walks around the house when she hears something.  Suddenly two black clad guys wearing animal masks break in and kill her and her boyfriend.  Then the scene changes to another vacation house down their road, where a preppy looking couple prepare to host their family and significant others for a thirty-fifth anniversary celebration.   The killings begin and soon the multiple character boil down to a very few, including an Australian girl who just happens to have grown up in a survivalist compound.  With that twist, and another plot point that explains the killings, the hunter become hunters.  I have to admit this one’s better than most, but I’m not wild about this kind of over the top violence.   Does it deliver what it promises?  Slasher movie.  Is it entertaining?  A couple of good plot points.  Is it worth the price of admission?  Not for me.
