Jean Seberg left Iowa for France in the 1950s where she grew into a French New Wave darling because of her role in "Breathless." This film biography concentrates on Seberg's return to Hollywood and affair with a member of the Black Panther party, which draws the attention of the FBI. 1 Star Rated "R"
Kristen Stewart never manages to submerge into the role of the former film star. Vince Vaughn add cringeworthy scenes as a driven FBI agent as does Steven Root as Seberg's agent. Anthony Mackie manages his role as Seberg's revolutionary lover. The script doesn't help any of them.
